Access to Information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minister's Office has launched a new mobile-phone based service comprised of phone numbers, addresses, map of police thanas, fire brigades and public hospitals of entire Bangladesh.

Anyone can easily find out any of these from anywhere in the Bangladesh using this app. S/he can easily make a call to any thana, can locate nearest service point from the map; if necessary, can see the path to that location in the map. Anyone can send these information to others via SMS. This app also includes an easy way of sending suggestions, comments or complaints directly to these organizations. For immediate help, there are two hot-buttons those are just one click to call. In addition, anyone can exchange information and messages through Facebook pages of these organizations.

বাংলাদেশ পুলিশ, ফায়ার সার্ভিস এবং সরকারি হাসপাতালগুলোর ফোন নম্বর, ঠিকানা, ম্যাপ নিয়ে সম্পূর্ণ মোবাইল ফোনভিত্তিক একটি নতুন সেবা চালু করেছে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের এক্সেস-টু-ইনফরমেশন (a2i) প্রোগ্রাম।

অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করে যে কেউ খুব সহজে বাংলাদেশের যে কোন থানা, ফায়ার সার্ভিস কিংবা হাসপাতাল খুঁজে বের করতে পারবেন। সহজেই ফোন করতে করতে পারবেন আপনার কাঙ্খিত যে কোন স্টেশনে, ম্যাপ থেকে সহজেই খুঁজে বের করতে পারবেন আপনার সবচেয়ে কাছের থানা, ফায়ার স্টেশন কিংবা হাসপাতাল, প্রয়োজনে ম্যাপে দেখতে পারবেন সেই স্টেশনে যাবার পথটিও। সহজেই যে কোন বন্ধু কিংবা প্রিয়জনকে এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে পাঠাতে পারবেন এসব ফোন নম্বর ও ঠিকানা। অ্যাপটিতে আরও থাকছে আপনার পরামর্শ, মতামত কিংবা অভিযোগ সরাসরি সংশ্লিষ্ট সংস্থাকে জানানোর ব্যবস্থা। জরুরী মূহুর্তে মাত্র এক ক্লিকে পুলিশ কিংবা ফায়ার সার্ভিসের সাথে যোগাযোগের জন্যে রয়েছে দুটি হট-বাটন। এছাড়া এই অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করে পুলিশ, ফায়ার সার্ভিস কিংবা হাসাপাতালগুলোর ফেসবুক পেজের সাথেও সরাসরি তথ্য ও বার্তা আদান-প্রদান করা যাবে।
