APPLICATION TO UNDERSTAND THE CHANGES IN THE VISUAL Fields
Alterations of visual fields or campimetric defect may be due to retina lesions, optical nerves, chiasma, optical belts, lateral geniculate nodes, optical radiation or cerebral visual cortex.
The visual field is a determining exploration in the diagnosis and monitoring of the neuro-agtalmological patients.
The guide campimetric defect pattern and, on many occasions, allows identifying the location of a brain level injury.
