WiFi AirWaves periodically renegotiates WiFi speed for your Android phone or tablet to correct a possible degradation issue in Wireless connections that sometimes occur. There have been issue(s) reported with texting, WiFi AirWaves will assist with correcting that issue, until the actual deficiency is resolved by the appropriate parties. In addition, WiFi AirWaves can aid when your cell phone is located near a computer that emits RFI signals.

Preferences are available to select the refresh cycle and to enable or disable notifications. The notifications can help aid in determining whether this is your issue or not, some apps just run in the background and it's difficult to determine their effect due to lack of empirical data that these notifications provide. WiFi AirWaves can also be cancelled so that you don't have to uninstall it to stop it.

The background processing for WiFi AirWaves has been designed to have a minimal footprint on Android and to execute at the approximate time with a priority toward periods of quiescence that take precedence over the scheduled time, after which all resources are released until initiated per the schedule.
