Implementation of the perioperative management of the patient anticoagulated / antiagregado.

The multidisciplinary meetings to allow discussion of common topics to various specialties, are of utmost importance to the standardization of clinical practice. The Congress of the Portuguese Society of Anesthesiology 2014 integrated the "3rd Consensus Meeting on" Peri-operative handling Medicated Patient with anticoagulant and antiplatelet agents. " The presence of new drugs in the field of anticoagulation, in particular Oral Anticoagulants Direct, the existence of new and more potent antiplatelet agents, the combination of anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents, dictated the need to establish guidelines, not only of technical loco -regional, but also for the perioperative management of these patients.

In the Portuguese Society of Anesthesiology fit the initiative of this project and continuing even through the free dissemination of these same consensus. Early it was defined need for a program that brings together in a systematic and easy, all this information. Thus was born the "Blood Alive APP", an application that integrates multidisciplinary consensus in the peri-operative approach to the patient anticoagulated and antiagregado. The scope of the topic and the need to disseminate and make available these consensus to various specialties dictated the division of this application: "BLOODanesthesia" informs about the suspension of time and monitoring required to perform anesthesia techniques locoregional these patients, including situations urgency; the "BLOODperiop" provides information, broader on the perioperative management, monitoring and performance in case of bleeding in patients taking anticoagulants and antiplatelet proposed for planned invasive procedures and urgency.

Being Blood Alive APP an application which concentrates vast topics such as anticoagulation thromboprophylaxis, perioperative and performance in massive bleeding, supported by multidisciplinary consensus meeting, part of the same application is the BLOODthromboprophylaxis, based on recommendations for prophylaxis peri operative venous thromboembolism in adults resulting from multidisciplinary national consensus 2014 and the BLOODbleeding to work in massive bleeding, based on multidisciplinary consensus meeting to be held in SPA Congress this year.

The "ALIVE BLOOD app" more than one application is a subsidiary of fundamental information, which reflects the consensus meetings of recommendations made in the field of anticoagulation thromboprophylaxis and massive bleeding, intended for all doctors who deal with the patient in the perioperative .
